Chipua is committed to transforming the lives of disadvantaged youth in Tanzania by supporting quality education and equipping them with the tools they need to engage in income-generating activities and contribute back to their communities. We are working in some of the poorest areas in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania's largest city, and thus far we have changed the lives of more than 600 participants.

With your help, we can continue to reach out to disadvantaged youth to empower them to take ownership for the direction of their lives and make a lasting, meaningful impact on their families and communities.

Change a life. Save a desperate youth. Give now.
By contributing, you are investing in a brighter future for East Africa and the world. We rely on the generosity of individuals, corporations and other grantmaking bodies to continue our programs. Roll up your sleeves. Get involved. Volunteer.
The assistance of overseas volunteers has been critical to the Chipua's development. They provide skills, knowledge and initiative which can be difficult to find locally. Additionally, our participants benefit greatly from the ideas and experiences of people from different countries.

Partnerships

We partner with the Boona-Baana Center for Children’s Rights, a small, grass-roots organization located in Dar es Salaam Tanzania. Their aim is to create a series of local, sustainable projects which will assist vulnerable children.

We partner with TrustAfrica, an independent foundation that strives to secure the conditions for democracy and equitable development throughout the continent. Led by Africans, they convene dialogues, catalyze ideas, and provide grants and technical assistance to organizations working to advance these goals.

We partner with the Global Fund for Women, an international network of women and men committed to a world of equality and social justice. They advocate for and defend women's human rights by making grants to support women's groups around the world.
